Boris Glamocanin was born in 1980 in Zagreb, Croatia, then part of Yugoslavia. When the Balkan War erupted in the early 1990s, Boris and his family relocated to Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he pursued his passion for art. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Banjaluka in 2003 with a degree in painting. During his postgraduate studies, Boris was honored with the ZVONO Award, which led to a residency at the International Studio & Curatorial Program (ISCP) in New York in 2012. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
